The Towers

My ceremony was at South Ferry Church in Narragansett, but my reception was at The Towers. Not only is that building absolutely beautiful, but the service is amazing. Kate Vivien is so great! We met with her a few months before the wedding to finalize details and she had GREAT input! I loved every minute we spent in The Towers and would highly recommend this venue to anyone!

The Towers was a beautiful venue with amazing views and a unique experience. They day was amazing. I do have to say though, that they are not very flexible with things. For one, you can only have alcohol served for up to 4.5 hours due to a town law. This is completely hindering if your wedding is longer. In addition, they have a lot of constrictions. It was an amazing night in the end, but just be aware that you have to deal with stipulations here that you might not have to deal with at a hotel venue.

We had 100 people at our wedding and I would rate this the BEST venue in RHODE ISLAND! Trust me, we looked at various locations in Newport and Portsmouth (Vineyards, mansions, etc.) The interior is amazing! Panoramic ocean views at every seat! The new courtyard is beautiful, great photo opps!The price is extremely reasonable...and because it is owned by the town of Narragansett and not privately owned the staff does not treat you like they are trying to take advantage of you (aka...overcharging) because they do not work on commission (good luck finding that anywhere else!)Kate Vivian (The Towers Coordinator) is a wonderful woman...always a pleasure to talk to :)

The Towers is an absolutely stunning wedding reception venue. We had our reception there in May 2010. It was so beautiful and perfect. The building itself is gorgeous and the views are spectacular. We could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding reception. We highly recommend this location! Kate Vivian (Towers coordinator) is very nice to work with.

The Towers was fantastic for our wedding reception on May 1, 2010. It was very easy to set up the details of our reception with the coordinator, Kate Vivian. The Towers looked beautiful for our reception, and we were lucky enough to have the cocktail hour on the patio outside. Our reception couldn't have been nicer or more beautiful.

Absolutely AMAZING venue. The people we worked with were WONDERFUL, and so helpful. We had no idea what we were doing when we went into this, and we had the greatest wedding imaginable. The price was amazing for what we got out of it. We had the sound of the ocean waves lapping at the shore during the ceremony. Most amazing place I have seen.

Though it was sometimes difficult to get hold of the staff of the Towers for planning purposes, we couldn't have found a more beautiful venue, and certainly not for the value. Having the ceremony upstairs right by the reception setup was simple and lovely, and all the guests faced the french doors that looked out at the ocean - extra dramatic! They seem to be somewhat new at event hosting, as I found them a little disorganized. I was also startled to learn that (a) they have no tent to fit the new patio oustide despite multiple references to a tent in their paperwork, and (b) this past August was the first 3 wedding weekend they had hosted, suggesting that this is still a new business for them.

We had our wedding this fall and it was beautiful!! A lot of our guests were from out of town and couldn't get over how perfect the setting was. Standing upstairs...it's like you are right in the ocean it's that close. We loved the exposed beams, exposed stone and fabulous views! It was the perfect venue for our wedding style...we did a cocktail reception/party and did a mix of tables. The guests really mingled and walked around a lot. I would suggest to keep it on the small side if you are planning a formal sit-down dinner because it does get a little tight. I think the site says the capacity is 180 but with tables and chairs, I would stick to under 140.

Our wedding reception at the Towers in April 2009 was perfect and a lot had to do with us choosing to have the reception at the Towers. Kate Vivian was very helpful and accomodating!

Great place to have an event, ours was great. The only drawback is the limited hours because it is a town owned venue but it turned out to be a fine amount of time.

The Towers is a completely romantic and wonderful place to have a reception. The feeling you get dancing by the water is quite overwhelming. Our reception there was very memorable and I wouldn't change it for anything.My suggestions are make sure you read your contract well about hours and the such carefully. Kate Vivian is a great help so make sure you go over things with her before the big day. Kate saved the say when she pointed out the band would have to stop a half an hour early unless we rented the Towers for longer. I would have been devastated if that had happen. Kate was able to extend our time.There was construction at the Towers when we had our wedding in June 08. Although the orange tape was down, the grounds were not ready. The construction and courtyard were supposed to be done by our wedding when we booked the venue a year before. On the day of the wedding I didn't give it a second thought but it was a bit stressful leading up until then.Even with these small glitches, it was completely magic. As I said, let Kate help you get the details down. She is incredibly helpful with the planning and arrangements.You couldn't chose a more romantic, beautiful place than the historical Towers in Narragansett. But book early, The Towers calender if pretty darn full!

My reception at the Towers was exquisite! Everything went off without a hitch and the planning associated with the venue was so easy! From the assistance around which chairs to rent, the set-up of tables, and the staff provided the day of the reception-I could not have asked for more. The location alone makes this venue memorable for all guests.

I had my wedding here afte I went to a wedding there and it was amazing. Beach view from every angle, just spectacular. I had about 130 people and it was perfect. the dance floor was huge. It looks very awkward but there was so much room, everyone was friendly and I can't wait to throw another party there! wonderful!!!
