After searching through many options a friend of mine referred me The Perfect Details where I fell in love. All of our stationery pieces turned out absolutely beautiful and we are so thankful for the time we spent working with this company.

Donna and her assistant were fantastic. Very professional, very flexible, and able to switch course on the fly. My backyard wedding took place during a torrential storm. They quickly arranged for extra tents and flooring, so the show could go on. The rain was coming down so hard that, if not for all extra tents, no one would have made it to the main tent without being completely drenched. The photographer, the dj and the caterer all did a terrific job. They were all very professional and friendly. Also, the invitations, which Donna put together by hand, were gorgeous -- everyone raved about them. I recommend The Perfect Details wholeheartedly. You can't go wrong with them.

Donna Kim, and The Perfect Details - incredibly creative and professional; Donna always kept the focus on the greater picture, The Bride, the Groom, and their Wedding Day; and the first, and the last-ing impression of the entire experience to all of those involved was amazing! She guided, steering us either in the right direction, or, smoothly and with humor and confidence, steered us on to Plan B. Everything went perfectly - venue and vendor choices, the save-the-dates, the invitations, the favors, the table cards etc. - perfect! Even Mother Nature and weather complications didn't mess up a day that already was destined to be one of the best days of our lives - rain simply didn't become a problem - Donna made it part of the drama and the ambiance! I can not begin to tell you the value of Donna Kim's services. She is not only a very organized wedding planner she is a creative genius! When interviewing wedding planners I knew that I wanted someone who could help me with a creative vision and she totally understood me! Donna not only helped me with my vendors she was able to assist me with my budget, invitations, wedding favors, welcome bags, room decor, overall cohesive vision of my day with flawless details streaming throughout the entire weekend. My wedding was in Newport RI.Notes:-Donna made our wedding look like it came out of the most high end magazine!! -Donna is so incredibly talented with her design vision and execution we even got to a point where I could say two words she would get what I was thinking and bam it was exactly what I pictured! Even when I had no idea how to express in words what I wanted she was able to pull it our of my brain and make it a reality!-Donna was able to guide me to all the best vendors for me and then help me with all my meetings with them so that everyone was on the same page!-The worst part of my wedding is that it is over and that I don't get to communicate with Donna multiple times a day, although I do still email as frequently as possible, she was not only my wedding planner she is now my friend!

Donna was by far the best decision we made!!! Right after we picked our venue we had no idea what to do about the rest of the planning. As soon as we starting telling our friends we were meeting with wedding planners we were referred to Donna and five minutes into the first meeting we were convinced she was the perfect fit!! The dedication and personal care Donna put into our wedding was absolutely amazing!! She helped bring all of our ideas to life and made the entire processes a breeze, everything from picking the perfect vendors to making the day of run so wonderfully. She is the best at being one step ahead of the game and doing things for you before you can even tell her. Donna also used her creative talents to help us craft our save the dates, invitations, and thank you notes. I think it is so important to make your wedding a day that you will remember forever and it is important to have fun while doing it. Donna makes this possible!!!!!!

Donna has exquisite taste and a keen eye for design, but what sets her apart from others in that she personalizes the weddings to the bride and groom. No two of her weddings are alike. Donna pays attention to evey detail during the planning process as well as creates a lenghty schedule for the big day so that everything runs smoothly. She is an absolute joy to work with and has a unique ability to resolve the inevitable problems that come up along the way. She helped us select our vendors, who all were top-notch. Donna also designed all of our stationery items (e.g., save the dates, wedding invitations, menu cards). They were exquisite; all of our guests commented how exceptional they were. There is no doubt that Donna's business is aptly named - The Perfect Details. The wedding was perfect - because of Donna.

I can't imagine not having Donna Kim at my side on the biggest day of my life. She was really there for me! From the custom invitations to recommending excellent videographers as well as helping us choose the perfect venue. I wanted a wedding planner that would create the perfect modern day wedding with the height of sophistication and class of Jackie O. She anticipated my every need on the day and made the big problems ie. someone giving Grape candy to the flower girl which of course ended up on her dress, simply dissapear! I don't know how she did it. I feel she went above and beyond every meeting and communicated beautifully about her recommendations. She took our personal choices and brought them to life through very creative give aways and everyone at the wedding was relaxed... even me.

Donna is truly amazing! She made every aspect of planning effortless. She dealt with even the most difficult vendors with a firm hand but was always professional and responded to every question posed by me or a vendor within the day it was asked. She made it possible for me and Joe to relax and truly enjoy our wedding as she attended to every detail. No matter what came up, even at the last minute, Donna handled it with ease.

Donna truly made our day. From the moment that we got engaged to the very last dance she was there for us at every turn. She has more talents that one person should possess from the favors at our rehearsal dinner, to her graphic design skills on our invitations, playing our ceremony music (learning the piano version of Mrs. Robinson for us!) and most of her enthusiasm to make our day personal and special and something to be talked about for years to come. When looking at your wedding budget and a thinking about necessities - The Perfect Details should be at the top of your list!

Donna was such a joy to work with! She guided us through all the important decisions gracefully never adding any pressure or stress. She made the process so much fun! Donna created by hand many of the special details for our wedding day. From the Save the Date cards to the individual menus at each place setting, each item was flawless, beautiful and uniquely us. Nothing ever seemed "cookie cutter". We could not have been more pleased with her service!

Donna of The Perfect Details was one of the best investments that I could have made for my wedding day. It was about 3 months after I had booked my wedding date, and I was feeling overwhelmed with all of the choices I had to make, and unsure of where to find the best vendors when I couldn't find anything online. At this time, I had a first phone call with Donna, whose voice just gave me so much reassurance, and she seemed to be exactly on the same page of what I wanted. Donna was there for me every step of the way. Emails were always responded to quickly, and she would often send me ideas and ways to save money without me asking as well. I never felt like I was a client who was being charged for every minute - Donna definitely put her all into planning my wedding, and at the end of it all, I felt like she was a friend as well. I also ordered my invitations, menu cards, and programs through Donna - her letterpress prices were way lower than I would have paid anywhere else, and the results were beautiful. On my wedding day, she was everywhere all at once, fixing buttons, stitching hems, and removing stains. She even added a few of her own special touches that were such nice surprises for me. I do not even know where to begin to thank Donna for ALL of the amazing things that she did to make Brad and my wedding the perfect event that it was! During my first meeting with her, she asked me what words I would use to describe my wedding and I said �elegant� and �fun.� I thought she had a challenge ahead to create a wedding that fit both of those characteristics, but she certainly accomplished that feat, and made it look easy! Our guests compared our wedding to a fairy tale�and most importantly, had a wonderful time! Starting with our save the date cards, which are still on several refrigerator doors of our guests, Donna helped us find fun and exciting ways to add creative touches to the wedding. Our invitations were spectacular and Donna definitely outdid yourself with our ceremony program. We had so many questions for Donna � questions about vendors, scheduling, planning, etiquette, etc., and she was always available, via e-mail or phone, to answer our many questions and offer such wonderful advice. Donna calmed our stresses, when we were feeling the pressures of the upcoming day! We really don�t know what we would have done without her. Donna made the entire planning process enjoyable and gave us the most amazing end product that we could possibly have imagined!!

Donna became such an important and integral part of our wedding planning that we ended up viewing her as a friend, not just a service contracted. She held our hand every step of the way, when needed. She gave services well beyond our expectations. She listens and guides you and is a tremendous resource so that your special day is carefree and all you need to is drerss and enjoy! I first met Donna in 2005 when I was working with a catering company. She was a client and I remember her coming to me with such different and out of the box ideas for her couples. It was so refreshing to have someone that thought outside of the box, had such a passion for food and such whimsical themes that she would follow all the way through.When I got married in 2006, Donna was right there for me and could not have been more helpful or supportive. She designed my ceremony programs, seating chart, and table numbers, all of which were beautiful! She even played the piano during my ceremony! There was nothing she would not do for me.Being in the industry myself and having worked side by side with Donna during many of her weddings, I can honestly say there is no one like her. The attention and detail she put into everything she does in unlike any other. On your wedding day she will be calm, cool and collected. She is always ready for anything and one step ahead you. I feel so lucky to have met Donna, she is one of my all time best friends and you would be lucky to have her with you for your wedding too!

The Perfect details was PERFECT!!!On top of everything so I knew all the details were taken care of. I could just enjoy my day!!

We contacted her for assistance as a day-of-coordinator, but she provided much more than that. Through her professional contacts and business, we were able to obtain wedding invitations, chairs, and gifts for ushers/best man/matron of honor/reader at a substantial discount. But her services as a coordinator were the best value of all. Every meeting that we had with her was so useful and helped us feel comfortable that we were moving forward and meeting deadlines. Right before the wedding, she coordinated with the hotel, officiant, designer/florist, and dj to ensure everyone was on the same page. We had a very limited budget, and she worked with us to help us find the best vendors in the area within our price range. She is incredibly resourceful and very knowledgeable. She helped save us money in numerous different areas. She was by far the best wedding investment we could have made.
