Alan & his wife Cathy were absolutely delightful to work with. They were so easy going and friendly that we booked them on the spot! They were very organized & willing to meet anytime with any questions that we had. The ceremony was very personal (we chose the readings from a booklet provided for us, but they were very open if we wanted to add something). Most of my guests thought that they were friends of ours because of how genuinely happy they were for us. We were complimented by so many people on what a beautiful ceremony it was. Alan & Cathy are truly wonderful people and we certainly would recommend them if your looking for a personal & beautiful ceremony!! :O)

My wife and I renew our vows every year in a different state. This year we had the ceremony in Rhode Iland. Alan and Cathy Chianese were very accommodating with all are request. Since we do not know the local area they helped pick a beautiful location. Later they even recommended local restaurant to enjoy the local cuisine. Alan and Cathy Chianese are a great couple who do wonderful ceremonies.

Alan and Cathy were excellent to work with. Our ceremony was custom made, they gave us this awesome book full of ideas and we got to take our time and read through each one. I absolutely loved our ceremony!

My husband and I got married last weekend at Quidnessett Country Club. I just wanted to write to say what a FANTASTIC job soulmate celebration did. They were flexible and quick to respond to any of our questions and concerns. I loved how it was a team effort. Cathy and Alan met with us a few month before our wedding and provided us with a wonderful framework in planning our personalized ceremony. They gave us a lengthy book which had suggested reading/vows, etc. and allowed us to pick our own. Cathy was able to attended our rehersal even though it was early in the day. She helped us get organized and worked cooperatively with the vendor. Alan was the minister at our wedding, and pulled everything off flawlessly. We recieved so many compliments on what a wonderful job both Alan and Cathy did. Kudos to you both, we couldn't thank you enough. Without reservations, I would HIGHLY reccommend soulmate celebrations for your wedding.

Alan and Cathy are amazing!!!!!! The first meeting with them, we felt soo comfortable! We wanted to book them right away, they said we can go home and think about it and let them know! My husband and I didn't want to wait!!! They were very detailed, fun & you could tell they were truly interested in our wedding and our personal love story ! The package they give you is soo easy to understand and they were very helpful if we had any questions. You can customize your vows however you want, what's better than that?? The rehearsal went smooth, marriage license easy & smooth. The day of our wedding they were there early, making sure the wedding party were ready and well rehearsed! Alan and Cathy really made us feel confident in our ceremony selections & helped soo much in making it flow together. We are more than satisfied with their services!!! Sooo if you want a stress-free ceremony & an officiant who really cares about you & your special day, you are looking in the right place!!

My husband and I were married at Ochre Court in Newport, RI. We knew we wanted a traditional ceremony without having a full Catholic mass. We met with Alan and Cathy a few times because I was so overwhelmed with putting together our ceremony. Cathy took her time and created the perfect guidelines for us to follow. She went above and beyond to make sure our ceremony was exactly what we wanted and even sent me a draft of her suggestions. Alan delivered on the big day and everything was PERFECT. Alan and Cathy were amazing! Besides being reliable, on time and professional, they really care about personalizing your ceremony. Cathy has such a keen attention to detail that really helped us pick each and every part of our ceremony. Alan is more than fantastic! He sets you at ease and makes sure the ceremony is perfect!!! I have had many guests tell me how beautiful, emotional and personal our ceremony was- and I have to say if it weren't for Cathy and Alan, it would have been generic bc we would have had NO idea where to begin!!!!!!! Alan and Cathy worked with us in planning the ceremony, and especially since we were in Baltimore and they were in Rhode Island, their suggestions for the ceremony provided for many special moments and views that we would have otherwise missed. During the cermony, they kept things light, but still maintained their professionalism and the wedding went off without a hitch.

Alan and Cathy work as a team which makes the experience of working with them all the better. Alan and Cathy were quick to respond with any questions we had and were always available to help. The "menu" of ceremony services they offer really made planning our ceremony stress-free and fun! It was great to use their selections as a guide but to also have the flexibility of adding what we liked to the ceremony. Alan delivered our ceremony in a professional and caring manner. This was a second wedding for the two of us. We still wanted a traditional ceremony. Alan worked with our ideas and put a beautiful ceremony together. The day was perfect. Sometimes you hear horror stories when people are selected from the phone book sight unseen. Soulmate was recommended through a friend. Alan was professionally dressed, spoke sincerely about us and the guests were so impressed with the words that were chosen. I would highly recommend Soulmate Celebrations.

Our wedding day was a beautifully choreographed ceremony and we owe it all to Alan and Cathy. Together they helped us create a unique ceremony that was a reflection of our personalities - basically we wanted a formal ceremony in an outdoor setting. During the rehearsal, Cathy asked us how we envisioned our entrances and how we wanted our attendants to enter, from that point on it was in her hands because she was the professional! She took charge immediately getting everyone in place...they all understood what they needed to do and where they needed to go. Cathy and Alan made everyone feel comfortable and each of them had a remedy to help take away any butterflies. And they also didn't mind running through the rehearsal twice so that we would be prepared for the big day. Because we were going to be outside, we had a rain contingency 'just in case', thankfully we didn't have to go through with that plan. On the day of our wedding we were impressed with Alan's delivery of the ceremony...he strives for perfection. He was so professional and truly engaging - there wasn't a dry eye at that ceremony. Thank you Alan and Cathy for creating a wonderful memory of the most important day of our lives! Two words describes them both - outstanding professionals!

Alan and Cathy were absolutely fantastic. They were extremely personal and helped us to make the ceremony feel very unique to us. They were also extremely helpful and accommodating for some last minute requests/changes we needed to make. We highly recommend them both. They are a great team.

Alan and Cathy are a great team. It was a benefit having an officiating couple since while Alan was doing the readings, Cathy was able to cue the processional and coordinate other logistics. From the moment we met them we were sold. From their kind smiles, professionalism and open-mindedness we could tell they would be a great addition to the kind of event we had in mind. Our ceremony had some traditional elements but also incorporated our own personalities. It was performed on a beach, with some humor added to the readings upon our request, and ended with a group hug. Alan and Cathy helped me (the bride) pull off a surprise song I wrote for the groom by hiding and bringing me a guitar in the middle of the ceremony. It was done without rehearsal and came off even more smoothly than I had imagined! Before the event, they helped me to research sound amplification options even though that was a little outside their usual service. They arrived at the ceremony site early, dressed very tastefully. Alan performed the readings with a clear voice and with well-executed intonation. Everything felt right, and I am so happy we chose them to officiate our wedding. I give them a strong recommendation!
