Sara Faella Artist Designer Stylist

I don't even know where to begin with Sara- she is simply amazing! She was helpful, responsive, and SO talented. She did a phenomenal job on my hair and makeup, and even went beyond that. She helped my Mom with her dress, my grandma with her flowers, and even waited for me to get changed to help me put on my veil. Not only is Sara an incredible stylist, she is also a wonderful person. It was a true pleasure to work with her. Ladies, I woulds say book your appointments soon, because Sara Faella is definitely going places!

Sara is a true artist and is brilliant! She is attentive to your needs and knows just what will make you shine. I highly recommend her for your special day. She is very passionate about her work and will always give the best of herself. She is a gem and you will be so pleased with all that she has to offer for any occasion.

It is very difficult to write this review because I think Sara and her team are a very talent group of individuals. I chose Sara's team because most of the reviews on this site and other places were very positive. I did notice that there were some very bad reviews as well. Never did I think I would have to post a bad review. While the two stylist that came to my house did a very good job at what they did. However, they were not able to do make-up on one person because the stylist doing the make-up had another client. I think Sara and her team need more experience in how to deal with issues when they arise. The stylist did NOT inform me of this until she left for 10+ minutes to take a call outside. She came back and said that she wouldn't be able to do someone's make-up because she had to leave. She never suggested alternate options such as my hair being done by the other stylist who could stay later or if she could skip putting lip gloss on the other girls to give her enough time to do all the ladies make-up. Her and Sara's only solution was to leave someone out. I don't think that should EVER be the solution! If I had been informed earlier, we could have worked together to come up with a better solution. She didn't offer to meet up somewhere after she was done with the other client to touch-up make-up and do the other person's make-up. I have spoken with Sara about the situation and she claimed that the bridesmaids were late and that everyone was supposed to be there when the stylist arrived. If there are only 2 stylists, how can they work on more than two people at a time? Sadly, no one on her team ever informed me that everyone needed to be there when the stylist arrived. No one ever confirmed how many stylist were coming and no one ever told me that they had to leave at a certain time to go to another client. When I tried to confirm details a week or so before I was told that Sara had all the contracts and whatever was written on my contract was what time the stylists were coming. Not only was one person left out of make-up BUT clearly they did not leave any extra time if someone didn't like the make-up the first time or to do any touch ups. Sara's team is very talented - but they need some work in the customer service department and should NEVER EVER leave without completing everyone in the bridal party as contracted to do. It seems from my expierence and the other reviews that when Sara and her team do not encounter any issues they are perfect. But if they do, it seems the way they deal with the situation is not in the interest of the client.

I just want to thank Sara Faella and her assistant for making not only myself look absolutely, but my five bridesmaids and my mother as well! All night long, we were getting compliments from everyone on how great our hair and makeup looked! And aside from that, Sara actually made me a beautiful hair accessory that I wore! Thank you soooo much and I will definately reccomend you to anyone needing hair and makeup done for ANY occasion! And you have also gained a new customer for your full salon in Providence! Thank you for everything!!!

I had such a great experience working with Sara Faella and her Glam Squad, and couldn't have expected anything more for my wedding day hair and make-up! First of all, you couldn’t find a nicer person to work with – I could tell Sara genuinely cared about each of her brides and it felt great to have someone so sincere. Her assistant, Erin, was also great to work with and was reliable in making sure all of the details were in check. I went to the Westely studio for my hair trial and was impressed with the comfort and beauty of it. I had brought a picture of what I envisioned for my hair and Sara flawlessly created a replica of the picture, with a little twist to make it unique. Sara’s expertise really showed, as she made suggestions for make-up based on the look I wanted for my wedding day.On my wedding day, Sara and the Glam Squad not only arrived on time, but were actually ready to set up early. They worked very efficiently, doing 6 bridesmaids, my mom, and me in about 2.5 hours – and with very high quality. Everyone's hair and makeup lasted the whole night, well over 10 hours. I absolutely loved my hair and makeup and every time I see photos, I think how happy I am I booked Sara Faella! I would definitely consider going back to Sara’s studio for future events and recommend her to any bride looking for a dependable, stress-free stylist who can create stunning looks.

I was SO happy with Sara as my stylist for my wedding day! Not only was my hair and makeup exactly as I had dreamed but Sara as a person was amazing to work with. She truly knows what she is doing and my hair and makeup looked gorgeous but still natural just as I had wanted. My normally very frizzy hair stayed smooth during the humid day and my makeup looked flawless all night. Sara has the perfect personality to work with brides, she really loves what she does and gets excited about all the wedding details. She really is such a sweet person. When she realized I forgot my wedges for my first dance, she let me borrow her Gucci wedges off her own feet!! Who else would do that!? It felt like she was one of my bridesmaids as I got ready! We even jammed out to boy bands on her iphone during hair and makeup :) She stayed much longer than expected to make sure I looked perfect after our first look and before I walked down the aisle. Sarah really was the perfect hair and makeup artist. I am so happy I went with her and would recommend her to anyone!!!!! :)

I was stressing about so many things and after I had a makeup trial at my hair salon and came out looking like a drag queen, I all but gave up hope and said well, guess you are stuck doing your makeup yourself!My videographer Mike Picard (the best!) recommended sara and even though I was scarred from the first trial, I sucked it up and went for a trial with sara. WOW is all I have to say! I came out of there feeling so relieved! My bridesmaid Jessica was with me (shes getting married in oct) and as soon as she saw sara do my trial, she booked her for her wedding! Give sara a try, she is super nice and very easy to work with and it was one less thing to worry about on my wedding day! Sara is fab, I loved her and so will you!

Sarah and her "glam squad" were fantastic. We had 5 people total getting hair and makeup done... the girls were on time, efficient, and everyone looked great when they were done. Beyond that the girls were easy-going, they made the morning fun and relaxed. The wedding was on a hot day and even at the end of the night everyone's make up looked great!!

I can't say enough about Sara and her glam squad! They were absolutely wonderful to work with and truly made me feel beautiful on my big day. Sara's talent and personality made the trial and day of hair/makeup absolutely perfect and her team is just as wonderful. I highly recommend Sara and her glam squad!!!

I was so thankful that on the biggest day of my life I did not have to be in charge of my makeup! There was only one person/squad that I trusted to do this for me- Sara Faella and her Glam Squad! My makeup was done to the utmost perfection, and the service was unmatchable. I started my day at the hair salon, and because I didn't have enough time to go anywhere else Sara met me right there, hauled in her beautiful and professionally stocked makeup kit and created wonders! I thought I looked good with simple do-it-yourself makeup, but let me tell you, this girl KNOWS how to enhance beauty by 1000X bringing you to superbride status. I am still hearing how beautiful and heavenly I looked on my day. You'd be crazy to go anywhere else. This girl and her business is on the rise, I foresee celeb status not too far down the road.

I was so thankful that Sara\'s glamsquad artist Lori did my hair and make up on my wedding day. She did an amazing job and made the morning fun. I had called only a couple weeks before my wedding since I had not been able to get in touch with the first beauty vendor I had contracted with. I was so happy that even with the late notice I was able to have a trial and they were able to squeeze me in!

I have nothing but the best to say about Sara Faella! I used her numerous times for my engagement shoot, boudoir and wedding day! She made me feel like a princess each time! I looked amazing and felt amazing! The makeup looked flawless!!!! She also has such a fun bubbly personality that makes the day so much more enjoyable and laid back! I have referred three friends to her and will continue to do so! Hands down best makeup/hair artist around new england!

As a woman of color, it has always been a harrowing experience for me to have my make up done professionally. So after several disastrous make up trials, I was delighted to have met Sara. She completely embraced my Asian features. And with the wave of her brushes, she turned my uneven skin tone into an impeccably even velvety complexion. Sara’s ability to highlight my finer features and downplay the rest is amazing. She creates this flawless universally appealing visage. For me, it was not only her ability to perfectly match my skin tone to the right shade of foundation but her wonderful bubbly personality. Sara never felt like a vendor to me. She was more like my friend and confidant.On the day of the wedding, she got me dolled up at the crack of dawn (literally very early in the am) and than she came back with her assistant to do touch ups on me and apply air brush make up on my ladies. I was very pleased with my first look - although I would have preferred to have gone with less make up, traditional Cambodian wedding dictated otherwise. I also wish I decided to go more natural like at my trial but this bride was a bit indecisive at the last minute. As for my hair for the Cambodian ceremony – it held up perfectly. Sara is just as talented with a make up brush as she is with a curler. I was also impressed with her glam gal. She worked with my ladies to create a day to evening look that lasted all night. Sara also created the most beautiful floral hair pin for my big day. She designs custom pieces with great detail and tailors the accessories to the bride’s desire.

I am an out-of-state bride and after an extensive google/internet search I found Sara Faella and she designed my accessory for my wedding from this past weekend and it was so beautiful! I had sent her my a photo of my dress via email and the smallest swatch through the mail and she took it from there! She designed for me a lovely fabric flower headband made of shantung silks, satin and organza she even added some accented feathers and beautiful vintage crystal center. All of the leaves/petals on the flower were cut and sewn differently to give such an original look.She informed me she wasn't able to get any photo's of the accessory before she sent it off to me so I will be posting them on her fanpage and emailing as soon as I get them from my photographer. Words don't even begin to explain how much Sara brightened my day and added the finishing touch to my wedding. it takes a beautiful person to create such beautiful things.

Sara and her glam squad were absolutely fabulous!!! They did the hair and make-up for myself, my mom and my bridesmaids and everybody looked amazingly beautiful!! Our day was a long one, almost 6 hours of beautifying (I had a large bridal party!), but the ladies fit right in with my girls and we had a Fun day! They definitely got my most important day started on the right foot. Not to mention, we all still looked fresh and beautiful at the very end of the night (1AM), with pictures to prove it!! :)Sara has an amazing talent and I could not have been happier with my hair and make-up! She also made me the most beautiful hair accessory out of a few flowers from my dress and a added the most beautiful details to make it stunning!! Sara is a very generous and kind person, and truly wants you to look your best on your big day. I would absolutely recommend Sara and her team, and truly hope I have the pleasure of working with her and the glam squad again soon!!

Sara Faella was so wonderful and was a perfect start to my day. I have never felt or looked so beautiful in my life. Sara is extremely talented and sweet. Her Glam Squad was very professional as well. Every step up to the big day was so easy with Sara. She was actually one of my favorite vendors. She made the whole experience stress free and anytime I needed something or had a freak out, I called she answered we chatted and I felt better!Sara arrived early on the day of my wedding with a huge smile on her face and eager to get started. She applied individual eyelashes, did earth-tonish smokey eye with soft pinks and pink pale lip. For hair, we went vintage with loose finger waves and curls and both stayed all night!I am so happy I went with Sara and would recommend her and those talented hands of her's to all brides. She has an eye for beauty and a talent for art.

Sara Faella was more than just a name. Sara was the complete package, she represents herself as "Artist, Designer, Stylist" and it is obvious that she has earned the name. I found Sara Faella's company at a local wedding expo in which Dashiel, a member of Sara's highly experienced Glam-Squad, sold me the deal. Dashiel asked me a few question and got right into a beautiful high definition airbrush base. Shortly Alisa, a second member of Sara's squad, found just the right mix of earth tones and pinks, to add the perfect shadow, and a soft black liner finished with eye popping mascara. The combination of makeup artistry, personalities and professionalism, sold the show. I was late in the game when I found Sara Faella and was lucky enough that she was available on my wedding date. I asked that Sara used her Designer skills to custom make a few hair pieces for myself and my two bridesmaids. It just so happened that my wedding date was the same as "The Royals"! Sara showed up with a huge smile on her face, a hug and even a beautiful card to commemorate the day. Sara wasted no time in making me feel like my own princess. She started by revealing to me the three most beautiful hair pieces Sara's designs were so sweet. She put together a combination of Chocolate and White fabric overlaid with ostrich feathers I was enthused to add this piece into my accessories. As for makeup; I explained to Sara exactly what I was looking for, and she went on to pull out her mile long make up kit with every color from Olive to Fuchsia and everything in between. Within minutes the transformation began and by the 45 minute mark I was ready for the bug day. When I looked into the mirror I hardly recognized the face smiling back at me. Sara also made over my two bridesmaids and my fabulous mother. Sara made everything so simple and easy. There was no effort on my end, I simply told her what I wanted and she began her work. I would recommend Sara Faellas services to any bride looking to feel like a princess on her special day.

Sara and her Glam Squad were such a pleasure to work with!! I booked her about a month before my wedding after a bit of a nightmare experience with another hair stylist-- an experience that made me weary that I wouldn't look the way I wanted to on my big day. I was about ready to do my makeup myself when I came across Sara's facebook page on suggestion from another engaged friend and I was sooo impressed with her photos and the obvious passion she has for her art. I e-mailed her that night, and booked a trial soon after. After the trial, I was so please with the hair and makeup that I praised her to all my bridesmaids. Nearly all of them booked their hair and makeup for the wedding day upon my high recommendation and let me tell you--not one single person was disappointed. My wedding guests raved about how stunning I looked, how flawless my makeup and hair were, and how gorgeous all of my girls looked!! I cannot wait to work with Sara in the future--maybe for a boudoir or maternity shoot when the time comes :) All I know is that I never have to look for another makeup artist or stylist again, because I found the one for me!!Sara and her glam squad were so fun to work with on my wedding day, they made everyone so comfortable and happy (even me, a VERY nervous and OCD bride), and turned out some stunning and amazing results. I had the most amazing, exciting, and beyond splendid experience withSara Faella. My wedding day so happened to fall on a day where we had a very bad blizzard. I woke up that morning with my hair dresser canceling! Imagine what was going through my head...boy was I about to break into tears...untill.....Sara made it to my house right when she said she was going to be there...all glamerous and ready to make me look pretty on my special day. Not only did she do my make up perfectly....but she saved the day and did my hair aswell so beautifully. Sara-you are amazing and I thank you again! I would absolutly recommend SARA FAELLA to anyone who wants a reliable, fun, trustworthy and amazing person who does fabulous work!
