From our first meeting, I knew that Plantation was for us. The personal attention at our first meeting until walking with Kim leaving the reception was beyond my expectations. She promised us that the amazing, delicious food we tried at our tasting would be the same hot, tasty food for 200--and that was the case. The entrees and appetizers were beautiful. From beginning to end it was perfect. Our friends and family couldn't say enough about Plantation. If you want to have your hand held and feel like the only customer in the world-go to Kim and she will make it happen. My daughter and her new husband had the wedding of their dreams. Thanks to Kim and Abbe -and all the staff that made it a great event.

We worked with Amanda who was very nice and accomodating. Plantation catering assisted us with all aspects of our catering from the meal design to set- up, staff, and allowed us to store wedding day items at there facility. Additionally, they we familiar with the wedding location and the meal was excellent. They helped make our event fantastic. Amanda always had a smile.

Plantation catering did such a great job. Leading up to the wedding they answered all my questions and concerns. The food was phenomenal & they had something for everyone. I was very impressed with the service someone was there making sure my and my husband had food & drinks all night. I highly reccomend this caterer.

Plantation Catering did an outstanding job for the entire weekend. From the begining of the planning process through the end of the wedding day, Wendy was caring, kind, patient, and professional. Wendy responded to countless questions and concerns. The food at both events was of outstanding quality,delicious and beautifully presented. The people they recommended to us for the party planning and wedding cake performed their jobs beautifullly as well. The entiire wedding went smoothly and all our families were extremely happy.

Plantation Catering catered our wedding in November of 2008 at Glen Manor in Portsmouth, RI. They came highly recommended and we truly enjoyed our experience working with them, especially Wendy. She made selecting the menu a lot of fun - our wedding was a major hit with friends, to this day everyone raves about the food! We had a wonderful autumn menu complete with our own signature cocktail, delicious and unique food and of course they took care of chairs/table linens, etc. We didn't do a thing - the staff was incredibly attentive and professional. I never once thought about a thing that day - Wendy was there helping out and seeing to every last detail. It was truly a wonderful experience. Would love to do it all again!!!

I want to rave about Plantation Catering (as did all our guests). They were professional, lovely to work with, and the food and service at our wedding was absolutely amazing. Worth every single penny. Hire them and you won't have to worry about a thing.

Everyone at Plantation Catering was a pleasure to work with and they instilled confidence in us from day one. They are almost like wedding planners because they go WAY beyond just the food and provide coordination assistance with all of the other vendors, as well as peace of mind that someone is connecting all of the dots. The food - WOW! We had been thrilled by the food at the tasting and the food at the wedding exceeded our expectations. We received so many compliments - the sea bass melted in your mouth and the steak was done to perfection. Thank you Kim, Amanda, Carol and everyone at Plantation for a job not well done - a job PERFECTLY done.

Carol at Plantation Catering came very highly recommended. All in all, I am very satisfied with the service. Carol was very attentive and patiently walked me through all the details of the menu. While Plantation is certainly not one of the less expensive caterers in the area, they were able to work with me to try to make it fit my budget. They provide a day of caterer which was very helpful since I was not back until an hour before the wedding. The only real snafu was with the starter. We had a plated spinach, blue cheese and strawbery salad and they forgot the strawberries and the dressing. I must admit, the salad looked pretty sad, but I don't think anyone cared because the rest of the food was delicious! We did a Rhode Island station, a steakhouse station and a pasta station. My guests LOVED the food and are still hounding me to try to get the recipe for the New England clam chowder. I think this was the rare wedding where guests actually left full.
