Overall I would not change I thing, my hair was probably the number one thing people commented and complimented me on, I recommend Jennie Kay very highly to anyone!

It was so stress-free working with Jennie. She is great at makeup artistry and quick too. I fired three makeup artists before my wedding day since no one knew how to use liquid eyeliner. She always returned my phonecalls and emails within 24 hours. My makeup in pictures looked great and flawless!

Jennie Kay did my hair and makeup for my wedding on July 18th 2010 and I am still getting compliments today! On the day of the wedding I showed Jennie a picture of what I wanted done, which was different than the trial run. She was able to do the change with great ease! My makeup was gorgeous, everyone said I was glowing. She is very easy to work with and is very calming!

Jennie Kay Murphy was wonderful from the first conversation we had on the phone. I had a destination wedding in Newport, RI from New York and I was certainly worried about hair and mak-up services. Jennie was patient and willing to answer the many questions I had for her. She arranged a trial for me when I was only going to be in town on specific dates as well. She traveled with her team to the hotel the day of the wedding, which was a very helpful accommodation! My bridesmaids as well as me, the bride, looked beeautful for my special day. I would reccommend her services to anyone addn everyone! Thanks Jennie

I heard about Jennie-Kay from my reception site as I was an out-of-town bride. Jennie-Kay was amazing. Her and her assistant did hair for my bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother-in-law. I could not imagine my day without her. Jennie-Kay and her assistant were prepared, on-time, and extremely accommodating to me and my wedding party. My mother-in-law just commented to me the other day just how awesome her hair came out. One of the most memorable moments of my day was when I saw my hair & make-up done. I had never felt so beautiful in my life and I stopped myself from crying so I wouldn't mess up my make-up. Jennie-Kay comes with my highest recommendations to be your hair and make-up artist. You will look amazing.

Jennie Kay is exactly what you need on your wedding day! She is incredibly professional, creative and down to earth. She responded quickly every time I contacted her and provided valuable feedback on my ideas- including shooting down some that would have been disasters. I appreciated her honesty and experience. She was somehow intuitively able to create the perfect look for me, despite me giving her very little direction. Her new salon is a great place to hide away from all of the day-of chaos as you have it all to yourself and she and Christie make you feel very at home. I wholeheartedly recommend her. She made the hours before my wedding seamless and relaxing, in addition to making me feel gorgeous!

Jennie Kay did my bridal party's hair and makeup, including mine, on my wedding day. From the first time I emailed her she was responsive, warm and friendly, and flexible. She listened to what I wanted and made changes at my request, and did a fantastic job. The hair and makeup lasted the whole day despite it being one of the hottest and most humid in June. On my wedding day she and an assistant came to my hotel and they got everyone done on time, and even did my grandmother's makeup at the last minute. Jennie was also great to be around- I felt very comfortable and relaxed with her, and she even told my dad where to go to accomplish some last minute errands when we ran into issues. I would 100% recommend Jennie Kay Murphy to anyone looking for a hair & makeup stylist.

Jennie and her team did such a great job with all the hair and makeup. Everyone looked absolutely stunning and she was so easy to work with. I couldn't have felt more beautiful than I did that day. The best part was the next morning I woke up and still looked just as great!

Jennie is AMAZING! I wasn't able to have my first hair trial until a few weeks before my wedding because I live in AK, and I was nervous about the timing. Jennie was very nice and understanding and made me feel completely at ease. Before I had moved I had gotten my hairl and makeup trial done at another salon and I was devastated, so I was extremely nervous. The trial came out really nice but I had wanted to change a few colors and my hair a little bit the day of. I could not have been happier with my hair and makeup! I told her the changes I wanted and she knew exactly what I wanted! I seriously felt like a million bucks! I have never felt more beautiful! Her prices are extremely competitive, she travels, and her personality is fantastic! She brought her sister, who worked on my maid of honor and mother's makeup, and both of them looked stunning! I am so happy I went with Jennie!

Jennie is great. She came with a bunch of people to make sure we were ready early for photos. She is open to suggestions, and will follow the brides direction. She is also great at giving advice and offering her expertise in make up and hair.I couldn't have been happier. Everyone looked great.

Jennie Kay was excellent! Because my wedding was destination I was stuck doing it myself. I was really nervous, and decided to book a session with Jennie Kay to see how she could help. After an amazing trial session she gave me step-by-step instructional photos to refer to. During the session she taught me all I needed to know for my face and how to create the look I wanted, based on what was best for my skin and coloring. I highly recommend Jennie Kay to any bride, she listened well to what I wanted and knew exactly how to make me look my best. She was great to work with and did an amazing job, I can't wait to use her again for my next big event!!!!

Jennie was amazing. I have short-ish hair and really wanted an updo but was worried it would be impossible (or just look strange). But it was perfect and framed my face so beautifully!!! Her makeup was absolutely perfect too. I wanted to look natural but radiant, and she really came through (I've never felt so beautiful). Finally, she is a lovely person and fun to spend time with. My bridesmaids and I all had a blast with her. I highly recommend Jennie!!!

Seriously Jenny was amazing to work with. I went through 3 hair and makeup people and just did not like what they did. I met Jenny only about 3 weeks before my wedding so I was stressed to find someone available for my day AND amazing. She is so great at what she does and the day of my wedding was so FUN and Jenny and team made our day even more special. Jenny took such good care of me and my friends and family! Jennie Kay is an AMAZING hair stylist and makeup artist. I was complemented on how beautiful my hair turned out so many times and even caught myself doing a double take of my eye makeup when I walked past the mirror of our hotel lobby. I met Jennie when I was in my cousins' wedding in 08 when she did my makeup for the first time. I loved it so much that when I got engaged, she was the first person I thought of to do my makeup. She is "extremely talented" at what she does. I couldn't have been happier with my makeup as well as my bridesmaids. She is very personable which made the experience very enjoyable and exciting. I knew that everyone would look amazing!! I highly recommend anyone looking for a makeup artist to definately book a trial with Jennie, I'm sure you will love it!
