Jennie Kay was incredible and made my feel like the most beautiful girl in the entire world on the day of my wedding. I had a large wedding party and family members who needed hair/makeup services and Jennie and team was able to accommodate everyone. She and team came right to our hotel room-- were early and brought everything we would need and then some. Jennie is so warm and friendly-- I left my wedding trial feeling like we have known eachother forever. She is so wonderful at what she does and pushes the envelope in suggesting new ideas and suggestions so her brides are not the norm-- which I LOVED! I recommend Jennie Kay for any bride who is looking for a professional hair and make-up person who will make them and look and feel their very best on their wedding day. She is a class act and RI should be happy to have her!

Jennie did a fantastic job with my hair and makeup on my wedding day. I was very pleased with the results. We met before the wedding for a trial run (highly recommended) and she was great to work with. Always responded quick to phone calls/emails- would highly recommend jennie!

PERFECT! I was so worried about missing my trial and not having a chance to play around with a style before the wedding. But Jennie was AWESOME! She is a perfectionist with hair and makeup, and every piece was perfectly placed. She also did an amazing job with airbrush makeup. Usually I end up finding something to tweak a little with my hair and makeup, but I was an awe with Jennie's work. My bridesmaids also loved all their hairstyles, and my aunt loved her and Erica's work so much we were able to squeeze her in for hair and makeup too. She also has a little salon in Middletown, which worked out great since it would have been too cramped to all get ready at the hotel. I couldn't have been happier with choosing Jennie, and I would highly recommend her to any bride!

Jennie Kay was amazing! My hair and makeup was flawless on my wedding day and I am still receiving endless compliments about it. Jennie took the time to have two trials with me, the first we played with different hairstyles and I quickly learned that Jennie can do anything with hair! She is so creative. She also did my makeup with hi-def foundation, this trial was pretty far out from my wedding so she recommended when I got closer to the wedding and I had a concrete idea of what I wanted to come back for another. I went back to Jennie closer to my wedding and decided on a beautiful curly hair down look, my hair is stick straight and Jennie had those curls stay in my hair for days! Also after expressing concern because I turn very red very easily (hot, tired, alcohol) we decided to try airbrush, I fell in love with it. Jennie is so easy to talk to, its like talking to an old friend, and she listens (unlike other stylists I have tried) I was not only on of Jennie's brides but now I intend to go to Jennie with all my cut and color needs. Jennies beauty parlor is over an hour away from my house and she is worth every mile!

I can not begin to explain how remarkable Jennie and her team are. Jennie and her team did the hair and makeup for myself, my mother and 3 members of my bridal party. She was so professional and was so accommodating when I needed a last minute hair and makeup trial. She made the day of the wedding so easy because she came to our location to get us ready. The compliments on my hair and makeup were endless throughout the entire day and night. Jennie made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt in my life and it took my husbands breath away when I turned the corner to walk down the aisle. She is truly talented, so sweet and beyond amazing at what she does. We were so lucky to be able to have her work with us on our wedding day!! Thank you Jennie for making me feel like confident and gorgeous on my wedding day!!

Jennie is an amazing person and her cousin Amanda is great as well! I am so happy we used Jennie Kay for our wedding hair. Her and Amanda are super sweet and funny. I had a blast getting ready and I owe that to Jennie. She played PitBull on her phone for me all morning :) Aside from her great personality, her talent is AMAZING. Everyone's hair came out beautifully and held up all day (despite hurricane Irene!) Jennie was so accommodating! I love the hair feather trend and Jennie specially ordered hair feathers for the bridal party to match the bridesmaid gowns and she and Amanda put them in for everyone the morning of the wedding. I can't say enough great things about Jennie- she's THE BEST!

I got my hair done through Jennie Kay for my wedding and I could not have been happier. She did EXACTLY what I asked for (and I am VERY picky when it comes to my hair so that says alot)! All of the girls who used her were so happy with their hair too! She was very punctual, came right to our house, and even finished early! I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Jennie Kay and her cousin did all the hair and makeup for my wedding. We had 11 girls getting their hair done and one makeup application. The girls worked quickly and created beautiful hair designs. All my bridesmaids, MOH, MOB, and MOG were happy with their hair. Jennie Kay did a fabulous job on my hair, too. I got compliments on it all night. We did a make up trial and she made the slight adjustments I suggested on our big day. Very easy to work with, very sweet, very talented.

I had a great experience with JKay! Her network of makeup and hairstylist is the best in the State. I would highly recommended her service to any bride looking for a laid back, easy to work with vendor!

Jennie Kay was fun, creative and easy to work with. She did my hair for my wedding day and it was absolutely perfect.

Jennie Kay is an amazing makeup artist, and she did a phenomenal job on me and my bridesmaids for my wedding this year. She did my makeup based on a photo I liked of makeup I'd done myself, and she made me look like the most gorgeous version of me possible. I don't wear much makeup, so for her to be able to put on fake eyelashes and have me not freak out is pretty amazing in and of itself.The airbrush makeup she did lasted all day and night (~12 hours from application 'til the end of our reception on a humid, rainy day and everything but my lip gloss was still going strong), and she did just as fantastic a job on my bridesmaids' and mom's makeup as she did on mine. Jennie Kay took everyone's individual style and preferences into account, and she even styled my mom's short, curly hair to her liking (again, on a humid day)!Jennie Kay's definitely not cheap, but her prices are really reasonable for professional makeup/hair styling. I never pay for stuff like that, but on my wedding day, I figured I could splurge, and I'm so, so glad I did. Jennie Kay was extremely professional and accommodating--despite just having had a baby she was still quite responsive to my emails--and I could not have been happier with her!

Words can't explain how beautiful Jennie made me feel on my wedding day! I worked with Jennie (as she was pregnant!:) for my 4/2/11 wedding at Belle Mer in Newport, RI. She did my hair and make-up, as well as my bridesmaids. I made some change ups on my hair on my wedding day, and she calmly walked through how we can make it work. It was exactly how I pictured myself looking, and I'm so glad that she made it so easy. Her crew was also very talented, and positive, and the whole day just felt like getting ready with girls. So thank you, Jennie (and crew), for making us feel so great! Jennie Kay and her sister Christie are just fantastic! They came at 9:30 and I had 3 girls for hair and 7 of us for makeup. They did an amazing job and were incredibly prepared for everything. We had plenty of time for everyone including touch ups at the end. Most of us opted for the natural look which they pulled off flawlessly. I had never worn fake eyelashes before but they really do make the eyes pop without looking too done up. Everyone looked beautiful and we had so much fun getting pampered.

Jennie and her sister did an amazing job for make-up for myself, bridesmiads, and moms. I could not have been happier with the results on everyone and Jennie was also delightful to have with us on my wedding day!

Jennie Kay Murphy was an absolutely amazing person to work with! To be told over and over on your wedding day that you look "beautiful", "classic", "amazing", "gorgeous", and not to mention taking your husbands breath away the first time he saw you (lots of tears...and whispering at the alter "you look so so beautiful". All the women at the wedding had me turning around non-stop to look at my beautiful updo Jennie's team created. Jennie really listens to her brides and captured the classic look I wanted for my hair and make-up and my bridesmaids. She was always available for questions (as an out of state bride, things like where to get my nails done, etc. she wants her brides to have the best day!) and truly has a passion for wanting to make you feel amazing. I highly recommend her.

I couldn't have been more pleased with the services I received from Jennie Kay on my wedding day. My hair and makeup was absolutely beautiful and Jennie made the environment relaxing and enjoyable. Love, love, love Jenny! She was great to work with and gave me and my girls exactly what we wanted. I have short hair, and we worked together in the trial and the day of to make sure my hair and the birdcage veil were perfect. She did an awesome job. Highly recommend!
