DJ Charles Mercer was the DJ for our wedding. He is the coolest. Very well organized, polite, plays great music, engaged the crowd, and was easy to work with. We'd recommend him to anyone!

We had seen the entertainment specialists at my cousins wedding a few years before our own, so when we were picking out our DJ it was an easy decision. They are the best in the area! You can't go wrong with these guys and if your having trouble picking out a song, have no fear they can help you out easy!

My husband and I agree that one of our best wedding decisions was hiring DJ Charles Mercer. His professionalism, his patience and his outstanding personality were a great help to us while we planned our wedding. DJ Charles met with us twice prior to our wedding on 9/24. He spent a lot of time with us, explaining how the day would unroll, etc. It was very helpful that he had already done a wedding or two at our wedding site. On the day of our wedding, DJ Charles did an AWESOME job of moving the night along. He also did a fabulous job choosing music for both the dinner portion of the evening and then the dancing portion. He is a true professional; he loves being a DJ and this shows in his work. My whole family commented on the great job that he did! I highly recommend him without any hesitation!!

My wife and I were married on July 17, 2011 and were lucky enough to hire Entertainment Specialists to perform ceremony music and have DJ Charles Mercer for the reception. We planned the wedding from Chicago and after only a few phone calls we were comfortable with everything and were extremely satisfied with how everything came together. The ceremony music was wonderful and the trio we hired had no problem playing any of the music we requested. They were on time, courteous and were very very easy to work with. With DJ Charles Mercer, we also asked for LED uplighting and were able to get the perfect color we wanted for the venue. We informed DJ Charles that we had a lot of guests who were in their twenties really liked to dance and the most important thing was having the dance floor packed. He blew our expectations out of the water and had everyone from our college friends to grandparents all dancing at the same time and there was never a moment where there weren't people dancing and having a great time. For the end of the night, we asked DJ Charles to play a set list of songs that were important to our friends including our college's fight song and DJ Charles didn't miss a beat. He played everything perfectly and was even able to play music for a garter toss last minute after we originally wedding going to include one. Honestly, Entertainment Specialists was great and everyone we worked with was VERY professional. DJ Charles took the time to make sure he pronounced everyone's names correctly and has a GREAT DJ voice that just gets everyone in the mood for a reception. My wife and I can't say enough great stuff about Entertainment Specialists and we will definitely use them again for any event were hosting on the East Coast. Quick story, we had a random guest at our wedding who wanted to make a toast and managed to get a microphone from a venue server. Right as I noticed what was about to happen, I flashed a look to DJ Charles and he instantly knew not to turn up the volume on the mike and acted super quick to handle the situation. He acted very professionally and didn't forget whose day it was. He brought his "A" game but really, after reading the other reviews, Entertainment Specialists must always bring the "A" game. Thank you for making our event great!

Entertainment specialists was the company my venue package included, with that I didn't need to search. Although this company provides many choices in experienced DJ's to bands. I choose one of the top rated DJ's from their website: Ron Furr. He was excellent! He knew how to keep the party going! The only trouble was flexibility in meeting time and contacting him, he prefers phone interviews and not to meet until a couple weeks before the wedding. Which was frustrating for a bride who is well organized and on top of things! Also this did lead to some mishaps at the wedding, such as playing the wrong cake song. But overall the guest never knew and everyone enjoyed themselves, also a friend of ours who DJ's wanted to know if we did the play list. But we did not I left it open to Ron Furr (except for the specific songs for dances, cake, etc) and his choices made all our guest enjoy their time at our wedding!!

DJ Ron Furr and Antonio did an excellent job. Our special songs and special requests throughout the night were handled perfectly. The wedding was sooooo much fun! The music was perfect for our crowd. Not once throughout the evening did the dance floor not seem absolutely packed with dancing guests! Ron Furr and Entertainment Specialists are highly recommended!!!!

This company has many different MC's and i worked with John Zucco. He was very nice and professional. My only complaint with him is that at our 2 week meeting, we discussed the songs i wanted played, and he went and downloaded all the ones he didnt have. Our first dance song was From This Moment On, and the first part of it with the dialog was supposed to be taken out. But he never did. No one knew it was supposed to be taken out, but i think it would have been better without it. Other than that he was wonderful.

We had Charles Mercer as our DJ (from Entertainment Specialists) He was absolutely amazing. He had met with us about three or four times before the wedding and everything was perfectly planned and carried out! He had the songs we wanted, he had fabulous arrangements and the way he cut and put together different music was more than impressive! The dance floor was full ALL night! My guests were commenting to me on how good the music was!

Jack Barros was the most amazing dj. We could not have asked for a better one!

We met Steven Fortes (Entertainment Specialists) 3 years ago at my brother-in-law's wedding and we knew right away that we wanted him to be out DJ. Steven is professional, attentive, and knew exacly what we were looking for.He made sure that our guests had a great time from begining to end!!!Thank you Steven!!!

Mike Amado is not only the owner of Entertainment Specialists, but he is also an amazing DJ. Friendliness and Professionalism are Mike's #1 attributes. Playing exactly what we wanted and how we wanted it done, Mike provided the soundtrack for our amazing wedding day. Love him! A+++!

We hired DJ Mike Amado as our DJ for our wedding and we were SO impressed! The wedding coordinator from our venue highly recommended Mike and we were definitely NOT disappointed. He was a dream to work with and kept the crowd dancing until 2am! We heard people at our brunch complaining the next day about how much their feet hurt from dancing all night long. Mike definitely knows how to get a crowd going!

Mike Amado was our DJ (and the owner of the company)- he is awesome. Everyone loved the music, he played everything we wanted and nothing that we did not. So easy to work with. Most of our communication went through Toni Bianco- she was incredibly responsive, and also helped us to arranage transportation for the rehearsal and our videographer. I highly reccommend them.

We had Steven Fortes as a DJ from Entertainment Specialists. He was awesome. We met with him prior and immediately our personalities clicked. He played great music that literally got ALL of our guests on the dance floor!

I would highly recommend Victor Barruzza of Entertainment Specialists to DJ any event. After only meeting with him once, Victor was able to pinpoint our likes and dislikes when it comes to music. It was like he knew what was playing on our iPods! He doesn't do any hokie wedding games or songs unless you ask him to, and he's more than happy to hide in the corner. He was a great leader when it came to announcing the speeches, cake cutting and bouquet toss. He made an intelligent decision when it came to bumping up our "last song" after he noticed a lot of people leaving early. He did everything we asked of him (and more) and all for a great price!

I would highly recommend Victor from Entertainment Specialists to any bride. Victor did an EXCELLENT job at our wedding. We (and our guests) were truly impressed. Everyone loved his song selections, and thought it was amazing that he was able to get and keep everyone on the dance floor. The floor was packed the entire night. Victor truly helped make our reception a memorable and fun experience.

Mike did a great job of keeping everyone on the dance floor. He played everything that the guests wanted to hear and did a great job of MCing as well.He was easy to work with and offered suggestions that were helpful.

We had Victor B. as our DJ. He was wonderful! Victor played the exact songs we asked for, and had everything the way we wanted. He was very professional, kind, and has a great sense of humor. He checked with us throughout the wedding to see if we had any requests or wanted anything more--he was so attentive. We met originally with Mike, who heads the company, and you will not book another company after talking to him. He's been in the business so long and can cater to whatever type of music you need!

Mike Amado was our DJ and he did such a great job that our guests did not let him leave on time. Everyone had so much fun. We also had two musicians during our ceremony. Although I never met them in person, the music we picked over the phone was perfect.
