Crazy Chefs Caterers, The

We've used Crazy Chefs in the past and loved it. All the guests enjoyed the food, especially the appetizer. The issues we had were that the event planner overlooked the fact that we had open bar at our reception and sent our wedding planner to rent glasses and buy more mixers. We ran out of beer, and had to send a guest to get more. I asked for a beer at the end of the night, and the bartender has the nerve to tell me--the bride--there were only 6 of that type of beer to begin with! Lastly, which really irritated me, was service of the wedding cake, or lack there of. I accidentally found out the night before the event planner planned on having a cake station rather than passing it. I emailed her that I wanted it passed and she didn't accommodate me. I was VERY disappointed, especially since she couldn't even serve the help table cake. Crazy Chefs is supposed to be a "5-star" caterer. I disagree, at least not with their current planners and staff. It's unfortunate because we love the owner of Crazy Chefs, and I'm sure he would have never let these things happen.

Crazy Chefs is totally awesome. They catered our wedding, and not only was the food incredible, but they also took care of the rentals (tent, tables, linens, everything!) Forget the 'typical' wedding with chicken, beef, or seafood dinner options. With Crazy Chefs, we had an Algerian station, an Italian station and a New England station to reflect our families’ various traditions. And the food was delicious! They were able to create a vision of what we wanted for our wedding that was better and more ‘like us’ than even WE were able to envision. Our guests loved the food. We loved the hassle-free planning process and the results. Our wedding turned out to be the fun & casual, yet scrumptious, celebration that we desired. Jim & the staff at Crazy Chefs are really excellent at making memorable experiences and taking such good care of you during the entire process. I highly, happily, enthusiastically recommend them!

I've been to a lot of events that the Crazy Chefs have catered. They really do a great job in the presentation of the food, making it look uniform. The staff is young but they are so sweet and fun! Their displays of food that is stationary is really really nice. They have a very creative team and a great chef!

I have used them 2x before for parties and they came through again. Debbie and Jodi are the 2 women who coordinated everything for me. The food was incredible, the station décor unique and creative and the staff was great. They took such a load off of me with everything. They really are what I would consider a full service caterer, handling anything that I asked of them. They were so experienced and went the extra mile in every way. This was the biggest rave from the guests, how smooth everything went and how attentive the staff were to all of the guests, not just the VIPS (if you will).
