I enjoyed working with Allison and Marissa. They did an amazing job on my hair and make up and the hair and make up for my bridal party. I found Allison and Marissa to be friendly, professional, and overall excellent. I never felt anxious on how my look for the wedding was going to come out. I would recommend Allison and her team in a heart beat!

Allison and her partner were a delight to work with. The make-up was done just as I had wanted it to be done. I was afraid of having too much on and not enough for pictures and she did it perfectly. She listened to all my concerns and did a wonderful job getting my look exactly how I wanted it. Thank you for all your help and for making my wedding day that much for unforgettable!!!

Allison and her team are great! I got married during hurricane Irene, so there were a lot of changes to our schedule. Allison was very accomodating and still did an amazing job. I got a ton of compliments on my hair and make-up. I highly recommend her.

Allison Barbera did an amazing job on my wedding makeup. I have extremely sensitive skin with rosacea and early signs of aging (35). Allison easily addressed all of my concerns. My makeup lasted from 11 am to 3 am (16 hours!) and I did not break out for the honeymoon! I was very pleased with her patience and responsiveness to my emails before the wedding. The trial was an asset and she educated me a lot about skin care and makeup during that time which helped to prep for the wedding day. The wedding day she was prompt and organized and was able to keep on schedule for my bridesmaids and me. Her personality is very friendly and humorous so it helped to calm our nerves. My bridesmaids also had fabulous experiences and they did not have trials beforehand. Her pricing is extremely fair, especially considering she is based out of Newport, RI where vendors tend to be more expensive. I would highly recommend Allison Barbera for wedding makeup!

Allison is a wonderful makeup artist! She did all my bridesmaids makeup on my wedding day and they all looked beautiful! She is so sweet and very reliable. She is also very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Allison!! She is the best!!

Allison did a BEAUTIFUL job on my make-up for our wedding on July 9, 2011!! During the trial Allison tweaked things as needed and took careful notes so I looked exactly as we discussed on my wedding day. She was super quick to respond to questions via email and provided me with many helpful tips. She is very knowledgable and professional. After seeing a make-up trial she did at my shower (super cool idea my mom and bridesmaids came up with!), one of my girlfriends booked Allision to do her make-up for her wedding! If you want to look beautiful on your wedding day, I would absolutely book Allison as your make-up artist! :)

Allison is a sweetheart! She is a pleasure to work with. I was so lucky I was able to book her company's services because my original make-up plan fell through at the last minute. I got to work with Ashley, one of Allison's artists. She was very good at what she does! She is also very direct and will say what she thinks, which I tend to appreciate in people. My make-up was great considering the fact that at the time I was so stressed out I didn't know what I wanted. (Now that everything's over I probably would have gone for a different look but it's my own fault for not researching.. Murphy's Law!) One thing that Allison did that I thought was very sweet - she showed up at my trial with a specific lipstick color (coral, to match my wedding colors). Ashley did a great job - I went for a natural look and was very pleased with the results. Not to mention, the pricing was very reasonable. Allison did an amazing job on our wedding make-up! We all felt great and looked ever better. Everyone loved the individual lip stick pots she have us for touch ups!! Such a great idea..Our make-up looked fresh all night long. Love!

Alison was great! She was so sweet and open to whatever I wanted done. She helped me decide on perfect makeup for me, something I never could have done without her. She is so talented and reasonably priced. I would recommend her to any future brides, or anyone else needing their makeup done.

Allison was friendly, punctual, professional and SO easy to work with. She was responsive to all of my e-mails (which was actually surprising for me, since most of the make up artists I contacted never called me back...). She was flexible and punctual and even drove out of her way to come to the house where I was getting ready instead of me going to her studio. I had never gotten my make up done before my wedding day, and I didn't have a trial done with Allison before the big day, so I was nervous about getting my make up done. I had no reason to be worried - Allison walked me through exactly what she did, gave me tips and pointers on how to do my own make up on a daily basis, and made sure I was fully satisfied. I would recommend Allison to anyone in the Newport/Boston area that needed make up done. Thank you, Allison, for helping make my wedding day one of the best days of my life!

I found Allisons name after reading reviews from wedding wire and after seeing a lot of positive reviews I decided to give her a shot. The only thing I can say is my makeup on my wedding day came out absolutely amazing!!!! Everything about it was exactly what I wanted. I had told Allison I didn't want very heavy makeup or coverup as I am not used to wearing that and she did exactly that. I looove what she did with my eye makeup and the colors she chose. In some of the pictures I have seen so far it looks absolutely wonderful. She did all the makeup for my bridesmaids as well and they all loved everything about it. They looked gorgeous. A month or so before the wedding I met with Allison and we went over everything I wanted ad dint want for the day of the wedding and she did a whole trial run on me on exactly how my makeup would look the day of the wedding. Even that day my makeup was absolutely flawless and lasted the whole day!!! If you are looking for someone who will listen to what you want and give you that natural yet seductive and popping look, you will not be disappointed with Allison at all. If I ever have another event or something important to attend I would not hesitate in hiring Allison and would definitely recommend her to another bride to be!

I love Allison!! She did a makeup trial for me for my wedding and I was in love! We tweaked a few little details before the makeup for the big day. She came to my house and did makeup for myself, my mother and FMIL, and one of my bridesmaids. She even helped to cover up a scar on one of my bridesmaid's leg. She is very talented!

Allison was great to work with! She arrived right on time and kept to her schedule, being flexible with any last minute changes we had! She was able to do all of my bridesmaids, my mom and my own makeup and it all looked beautiful. She was great to work with, I'd highly recommend her!
